**we hope to see you at our science night as we have a fun evening planned. It’s free for families and we are feeding you dinner! We have some awesome door prizes to give away and some cool guests with animals!

We have special science programs coming to present to each class this week! We have partnered with Spark! Imagination And Science Center to bring hands on science to the classrooms!

Happy Super Bowl Sunday Hodgesville families! We wanted to send us a quick reminder that we as as we are approaching our Valentines party day. We would appreciate if you would send in your child's box/valentines tomorrow. This will help us know who may need some assistance prior to the party. If you cannot send it in tomorrow but you have them please just shoot your child's teacher a message. Also if you plan on sending your child something on Valentine's Day please remember that for bus students they cannot have balloons and all vases must be plastic.

Tomorrow is the last day for our candy hearts sale!!!
Students can buy candy heart boxes for themselves, teachers/staff or friends and family. They are $1 each and will be delivered on Valentine's Day. Tomorrow is the last day to purchase!
Also our Dominoes Fundraiser is doing so good. This money helps pay for field trip and staff/student appreciation. We have almost reached our $1,000 goal and will be raising it. We have 11 days to go on it!!


We have 2 more days for the candy hearts sale!!!
Our Dominoes fundraiser is also doing well, so please keep that going! We will keep this one open through next week.
Also, a newsletter is coming home is today with lots of information and dates, as well as a flyer on our Iready incentive.



We will be starting 2 fundraisers tomorrow.
#1 is the PTO candy hearts. Sales will begin tomorrow they are $1 each. Student will buy the boxes and tell us who they are buying for. We will then deliver them on Valentine’s Day. If you are interested in helping man the sales table we are looking for help for Tuesday from 7:15-8:00.
#2 will be our Dominoes Slice the Proce pizza card and more details will be shared along with a video tomorrow. Cards are $20, but the neat part is that the school gets $10 per card!!!

100th day of school celebration will now be on Thursday 2/1.
PTO and January PAX Leader of the Month is happening this Wednesday at 6:00pm.
Birthday Table for January is Thursday 1/25.
Weather-please make sure your child is dressed for the weather.

Students will need to complete packet #3

3 hour delay for tomorrow 1/22

Schools will be closed tomorrow, Friday 1/19. It is a traditional snow day so no packets. Be sure to send us some pictures of your snow day activities

Good evening this is Ms Lewis. Tomorrow Thursday 1/18 we will be using another NTID day. Students will need to complete packet #2. Teachers will be available from 10-12 and then will be on training the remainder of the day. Stay warm and we hope to see you Friday!

Just a reminder that today is a NTID day and we are working on packet #1. Packets will need to be turned in, so please hang on to the days and send in after each day has been completed.
This means day #1 is due tomorrow 1/18.
Teachers will be available at the school for support from 9:45-3:30 by phone or email. Their information was provided on the cover page of the packet. Some teachers are out today, so please call Ms. Lewis if you have any questions.
We have extra copies at the school if you are in need of one.

Wednesday 1/17 will be an NTID day. Students will not report to school but will need complete day 1 of their packets.

Hello families.
Today, NTID packets came home. These will be used on NTID days.
NTID days will be used similar to snow days except the teacher will be available during the day. Please do not have students work on these until a message comes out.
If you lose the packet, they are also available online on our website.

Also, we added some items to the Santa Store, so if your student wants to shop again, they can...just send more money 🙂

Happening this week!!
1. Dress up days start tomorrow. See the flyer. Tomorrow is dress like your favorite character from a Christmas movie.
2. Santa Store is open on Monday and Tuesday from 10-2. All items are $2. Please remeber if you want your student to shop they need to bring in money.
3. Iready Reading Diagnostic is taking place. Remind kids to try hard and do their best!
4. Wednesday is an early release. Student will be released from school at 12 noon.
5. Thursday is the December birthday table!
6. Thursday is the PreK gingerbread activity at 2pm.
7. Thursday is the PTO meeting and December PAX leader of the month recognition at 4pm.
8. 5th grade is getting to sample our fresh chicken eggs tomorrow. Student must have permission slips on file to participate.
