Thursday-Dress Your Best Day!
Christmas concert at 9am @WVWC Chapel.
Concert will start promptly at 9.
Parents should sit on the middle sections on the main floor. Students will be sitting in the wings. Students who want to participate in their class party must return with us to school. Class parties eill be in the afternoon at the school.

Happening this week!
Monday-Movie Trip to Robinson Grand. This trip is for students only. We will be leaving school by 8:30. We will be watching The Grinch. It is Pajama Day!
Tuesday- Christmas Around the World. This is for students only as well. Students will visit 7 countries learning about their holiday traditions and have a visit with a special someone 😉
It is Ugly Sweater Day!

At this time due to lack of interest and sign ups, we are going to postpone our school having a Girl Scout Troop. The meeting scheduled for next week is cancelled.
We will look at it again toward the end of Spring and into next year.

Thursday- PreK only, gingerbread houses @2pm. This is for prek students and their families only. While we love having siblings attend, the supplies and the activity are planned for the prek class to enjoy.

We need some more help for our Santa Store.
It takes some special elves to help our kiddos shop.
If you can or would like to help, please let us know.
We we will need at least 2 more workers on Tuesdays since it is the littles and another 2 per day to help it run smoothly.

Friendly reminder that make up pictures are tomorrow, Monday 12/2!!
Also our Santa Store will be open next week. If you want your child to shop, please return the form that was sent home with money. This helps us plan on how much to buy/prepare for!
We also need volunteers to help kids shop!
Each day certain grades will shop during recess and then Friday will be make up/extra day

Good Afternoon Families!!
What a wonderful day we had yesterday.
Every student at HES was gifted a brand new coat, hat and gloves from State Farm. We are so very thankful.
It looks as though we may need them Thursday/Friday.
With the impeding weather, please dress students appropriately.
We are also postponing our STEAM Night and rescheduling for 3/27.

Thanksgiving Dinner Day--
If you are planning to eat with your child on Thursday 11/21, our Thanksgiving Dinner meal, please let the office know by 11/12 so we can order and prepare enough food!
We are not doing a special activity, but know some families like to come and eat with their students. We want to ensure we make enough, so please call ahead by 11/12 so we can be prepared.
Thanksgiving lunch will be served on 11/21.

Girl Scout Sign Up!!
We will be starting a troop at HES!
Sign ups will be Thursday 11/7 @5:30 at the school in the cafeteria.
Troop leaders will be there to compltete the sign up process with you!
We have a busy week this week at HES!!
It is Red Ribbon Week so take a minute and see the dress up days on the flyer attached.
Tuesday 10/22 is our PTO Trunk OR Treat and looks like we have 15 trunks!!
It is goong to be Maniac Mountain Haunted House in the field from 6-7.
Set up can start around 5:15.
Please pay attention to parking area and trunk area so we can keep pur kids safe!
Wednesday is the pumpkin patch trip to TJ’s Greenhouse for grades 2/3/4/5.
Grade 2/3 will be at the greenhouse from 9:30-10:30
Grades 4/5 will be there from 12:30-1:30
Thursday is the pumpkin patch trip for grades PK/K/1.
PK will be at thenpatch from 9:30-10:30
