Reminder - our field trip to Charleston, WV to visit the Capitol and State Museum will be TOMORROW JUNE 16 for our summer school learners. Students will need picked up at school at 3:00 p.m.
Due to the Juneteenth State Holiday on Friday, June 17, our field trip to the WV Capitol and State Museum has been changed to THURSDAY, JUNE 16.
Parents will need to pick up their children on Thursday at 3:00 p.m.
Due to no afternoon transportation on Fridays, we will also need our parents to pick up their children on Friday at 1:00 p.m.
Our return time to HES today will be approximately 2:15 pm. The travel time was a little longer than anticipated. See you at 2:15!!!

Upshur County has worked out a bus to transport students from HES Summer Learning to SYC or CDC in Buckhannon.
Bus 21 driven by Craig Smith will pick up any students in summer learning who needs to go to SYC or CDC at 11:30 each day (except for Friday / field trip day),

There is an accident on Route 20 at Shoemaker Road and Route 20 will be closed for hours. Our buses cannot get past the Eagles Club on Rt. 20 to pick up our students.
If your child cannot make it to school today due to no bus transportation, it will be an excused absence.
Reminder - tomorrow is our Easter activity for students and families. We will have Flying Higher - a show about birds of prey and their habitats. You will see many birds of prey up close and personal!
Remember to bring a photo ID to leave at the door.
Be here by 1:15 p.m. so we can have everyone seated for the 1:30 p.m. show.
Your children may sit with you during the show and you may take them with you at the end of the show.
