Today was an exciting day at Hodgesville Elementary School when summer learners earned gold coins to purchase a brand new book from Inchy, The Book Vending Machine.
The book vending machine is decorated to show our husky spirit and filled with many different genres and levels of brand new books. Students received a special gold coin for being PAX leaders and attending summer learning. Once school starts, students will have daily opportunities to earn gold coins for purchasing books. They will receive the magical coin for attending open house and foe their birthday, as well!
Students were so excited to use their coins today! One 5th grader stated this is the best school ever. Even the adults were excited to see the book vending machine in use and asked if they could earn coins!!
