PARENTS: PLEASE ARRIVE AT THE GAME FARM BY 12:20 PM. BUSES WILL ARRIVE ABOUT 12:45 AND WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO GET INTO THE PARKING LOT.

PLEASE WAIT AT THE ENTRANCE TO THE PARK WALKWAY SO AS YOUR CHILDREN COME THROUGH YOU MAY TAKE THEM WITH YOU.

MRS. PHILLIPS WILL BE AT THE ENTRANCE WITH SIGN OUT SHEETS SO YOU MAY SIGN TO TAKE YOUR CHILDREN AT THE END OF THE ACTIVITY.

STUDENTS RIDING THE BUS BACK TO SCHOOL NEED TO COMPLETE THE PATH BY 1:45 P.M.

After much consideration, talking with stakeholders, AND watching the weather, our field trip to the WV Wildlife Center WILL CONTINUE.

The temperature is to be in the 70s with 100% chance of rain. There is lots of tree cover around the path.

PLEASE dress your child appropriately for wet weather...……...rain coats, umbrellas, ponchos, boots, etc.!!!

Remember, no costumes this year....Halloween shirts, crazy hair, crazy socks, etc. ---- anything that will not disrupt learning in the classroom. There will be no time to change into costumes, put on makeup, etc.

If you choose not to send your child due to the weather, we will count it as an excused absence for the afternoon.

Supper Survey

Please follow this link to complete a survey regarding your preferences for a supper being given to your child one day a week.

Lyme Disease Information Sheet

With our unusually warm temperatures, beautiful wooded environment, and the current and upcoming hunting seasons, we need to provide information to help keep our kids and community healthy and safe.

Grandparents Day Success

Grandparents Day

Students and staff at Hodgesville Elementary School welcomed 100 grandparents and other loved ones to our school on Monday, September 9. Students and their teachers planned a variety of activities to engage their grandparents. Those visiting kindergarten were able to try the applesauce the students worked all day to make. In one classroom, students interviewed grandparents to see how their life as a child was different than growing up now! Students and adults played a game to get to know one another. We appreciate our grandparents and loved ones and enjoy the time they can spend with us learning!
